Hombori |
On the way to Gao You will see impressive formations of rocks between Douentza and Hombori standing out of the plain. There are only few people, but a lot of animals crossing the road - camels are guaranteed! Around Hombori are good possibilities for trekking (and climbing for specialists) The best way to get there (most expensive too) is to hire a car for a one- or two-days trip from Sévaré. So you can make a stop-over whenever you find an interesting place. |
